About Us
At Fit Effects Allied Health Co, we’re a close, supportive team of Occupational Therapists and Personal Trainers based in Sydney.
With over 15 years’ experience in disability and fitness, we help people of all ages build strength, confidence and independence in their everyday lives.
We work with people living with disability, mental health challenges and developmental delays. Our therapists are skilled in paediatrics, home modifications and equipment prescription, so support can be tailored to each person’s goals at home, school and in the community.
Our approach is simple: real-life, meaningful therapy. We combine movement, play and daily activities to build fine and gross motor skills, sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing. We also offer custom therapy boxes designed to target specific areas of function, so practice can continue between sessions.
At Fit Effects, we value work–life balance, kindness and growth. We support each other as a team so we can show up at our best for every client and family we work with.

Michaela
Michaela has been an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Fit Effects since 2023 and is currently completing her final year of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, graduating in 2026. She is passionate about building genuine connections with her clients, taking the time to understand their living situations, their formal and informal supports, and the broader dynamics that shape their everyday lives. She enjoys providing therapy to a diverse range of participants, from children through to adults. Michaela believes client priorities always come first, just as she has her own priorities and values, she wants every client to feel that same sense of importance reflected in their care. She is guided by two key questions in her practice: is what she's doing meaningful to her client, and is it genuinely enhancing their way of living?
